Happiness & Wealth Coordinator

Joanna is the happiness coordinator of AFA Group Wealth, and she is also part of our client services team. She first came to AFA Group Wealth as a client, wanting to accomplish her own financial goals. Joanna has one of the brightest personalities we have known and when the opportunity for her to join the team in 2016 came up, there was no second-guessing by John. She was perfect for the role. She holds a diploma in Financial Planning and an advanced diploma in Hospitality Management.

She appreciates supporting our clients first-hand and feels a sense of satisfaction when she helps clients reach their goals and objectives. She is passionate and enthusiastic about achieving life goals and seeing dreams turned into reality.

In her downtime she enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, going on weekend adventures and visiting their family and friends. She has a few hidden little talents and hobbies that often surprise our clients when we mention them; she can ballroom dance and is a gun at lawn bowls (she was once the Victorian champion!). She also enjoys making (the most amazing) desserts, as well as travelling. Switzerland is her number one recommendation!

Favourite snack? Skittles.

What gives me a good giggle? Watching my son run circles around the house while dancing!

Best financial decision? To put my house up for rent, move closer to my sons’ school and rent locally.

Fantasy career? Ballerina - I’d love to be a famous ballet dancer.

What superhero is my superhero? Ratatouille – because I love cooking!

What could I do as a kid that I’m trying to do now? Ballet!
