Bio: John is the founder and Managing Director of the AFA Group Wealth (Australian Financial Advisers Group Pty Ltd) & AFA Mortgage Brokers Pty Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Financial Risk Management), a Diploma of Financial Services and has also completed a Diploma in Mortgage Broking. John began working in the Finance Industry in 2003. In 2009 he founded AFA Group Wealth and is a proud member of the AFA (Association of Financial Advisers.). In 2013, John was nominated for the AFA's Financial Adviser of the Year award.

In 2018 he was very fortunate to be invited to attend Stanford University in California, USA for specifically designed strategic leadership course and learn from some of the leading minds in this field. John is currently ranked in the top 30 advisers in Australia on AdviserRatings, based on his client communication, client care, knowledge and expertise, provided by feedback by his amazing clients.

He enjoys a diverse range of sports & outdoor activities; such AFL, camping and hiking. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 young sons, teaching them all about the big wide world. He also enjoys travelling around the world with his family, spending time learning about innovation and history. He is a big fan of where we have come from and where we are going.
